Kadriorg Park in Tallinn is Celebrating 297th Birthday
Our beloved Kadriorg Park, a wonderful culturally rich area with historic parkland, enchanting rose gardens, romantic Swan Pond and inviting paths for relaxing strolls is celebrating it´s 297th anniversary today!
Once a summer home to the great Russian Czar Peter the Great, still today a home for numerous cultural events and concerts. If you want to find out more or join in, please see: Kadriorg 297
And, remember, any oak tree you might lean against while out for a stroll through the park, might me one of the few still gracing the park with its presence from Peter the Great times during the early 18th century- art, history, culture and beauty live in Kadriorg Park!
