Last year, 84 000 people partcipated in Night of Museums, which was an all-time attendance record for the event. Over the years, the Night of Museums has become a highlight of the cultural calendar and a very popular spring event that attracts tens of thousands of visitors both from Estonia and abroad. For more info, see www.muuseumioo.ee In 2015, we recommend to visit during Tallinn Museum Night: Seaplane Harbour's exhibition- A perfect adventure for families, the museum highlights include a submarine, a steam ship and multiple interactive activities. Seaplane hangars were initially constructed as part of the naval fortress of Peter the Great in 1916-1917. The hangars are the world's first reinforced concrete shell structure. The Seaplane Harbour is a treasure trove of maritime history that hides incredible stories from above and below the water!
